Chemo Again
Tiffany is back at CHOC - same as before with 5 days of treatments, 1 day to recover, and then she's back home again.
She has this chemo, then just one more and she'll have completed the whole course of treatment! Whoooo!

Merry Christmas!

Tiffany had a very nice Christmas (we assume!). She spent Christmas Eve in Westminster at her cousins Matt & Kathy's (a.k.a. us), and Christmas day in Riverside at cousin Cassie's house (happy 18th birthday, Cassie!). People were very generous with gifts for Tiffany - thank you to everyone who was so nice!!

The Plan
Here is the tentative plan for the rest of Tiffany's treatment: she has two chemothapy therapies left - one in December and one in January. She'll need some time to recover and build up her strength / immune system, then she'll return to school (seventh grade) in March!

Back Where She Belongs
Yay! Tiffany's back home! And she has just 5 more days of radiation visits at CHLA.
AND her feeding tube is out! Swallowing doesn't feel good, and dry/ scratchy foods are out of the question, but we're happy to have the feeding tube gone for now.
She needs a break from the radiation - in addition to messing with her esophagus and swallowing, she's also developed what looks like a very bad sunburn. It's actually a radiation burn, but it's basically the same thing as if you left yourself out in the intense sun forever. It will be very nice when the radiation is over and her body can heal itself.
