Haircut Day

Tiffany's dad had a really good thick head of hair.
But on August 13th, he said he wanted to get his hair cut just like Tiffany's. First we used the 5/8" clippers, but that only got him to match Cousin Cassie (herself recoving from medulloblastoma - brain cancer. She had surgery February 2005 and has just finished her chemotherapy treatment. See geocities.com/cassierockswithfaith for more on Cassie).

Then Tiffany's dad decided to go all out:

Here's Tiffany with her mom.

With the ladies (from left, cousin Cassie, grandmother Ba Noi, Cassie's mom Nhung, aunt Ut, and Tiffany).

FIRST POST

August 28, 2006 - We're setting up this website to help keep friends and family up to date with Tiffany's progress.

We found out something was wrong with Tiffany on June 14th, 2006 - two days before her summer break (after 6th grade) was due to start. She had been feeling pressure/ pain from breathing. Doctors saw a tumor in her chest cavity and she had surgery to remove this mass on June 20th.

Further tests revealed that she has a
very rare type of cancer. Tiffany has been diagnosed with Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy - she just finished her second monthly treatment.

We intend to keep this website up to date to let those who care about her share in how she's doing. Those who know her won't be surprised to know that she's holding up remarkably well, smiling and playing as much as possible even though she must be going through a very tough time.
