Yay! Tiffany's back home! And she has just 5 more days of radiation visits at CHLA.
AND her feeding tube is out! Swallowing doesn't feel good, and dry/ scratchy foods are out of the question, but we're happy to have the feeding tube gone for now.
She needs a break from the radiation - in addition to messing with her esophagus and swallowing, she's also developed what looks like a very bad sunburn. It's actually a radiation burn, but it's basically the same thing as if you left yourself out in the intense sun forever. It will be very nice when the radiation is over and her body can heal itself.
